Gen5 02 camry won't stay on. please help. Thanks

i changed the oil the other day and i guess the cap wasnt closed all the way when i was done with the oil change.
my bro went down the street to get something at the store and when he came back he told me the car sounded like it had a muffler on it. it was really loud.
i popped the hood and found the cap just bouncing around and oil spitting everywhere. turned the car off closed it checked the oil. was missing very little oil. i added a little. started the car again, idle drops and car shuts off.

i drove it around keeping the car on by reving it a little so it wouldnt turn off on me. came back home was idling very very low for awhile. but know it just starts and turns off. start it and it turns off. please help me guys. this is my only car.

You can try and reset the ECU. Take the NEG. (-) battery cable off for a few mins. (10-15) and that should reset it.The engine might take a day or two to return to normal
