Gen6 Just bought a '09 Super White SE V6 ...needs simple mods

i just bought a new Camry '09 SE V6 in Super White. I want to add HID's and other mods. However finances are somewhat tight and I want to make the car look better without spending a fortune! Is that possible? Let me know what you guys all think. I would appreciate it.

Pete

Just get HID for now (around $200 for a good brand, installed), it will help you with better vision at night, the other mods can wait. Don't force yourself, the SE looks good already.

Welcome to TN!

The best way to go would be Tints...and possible HID's even if they require covering the squirrel" spotters.
The rest can come over time

I agree with those above. In regards to price this is what I think in priority order

K&N drop in filter - $30-50 @ your local auto store
Tint - $50-$200 (you can do it yourself but i suggest letting a pro do it. Do a google search on what good tints..ie. 3M, solargard, lumix, etc.)
LED interior lights - ~$40-60 (depends on the cost of your LEDs and what you want replaced. You can definitely do these yourselfs. If you know how to change a light bulb, this isnt hard). You can also do cathode in the trunk - see my cardomain for led list and cathode
HIDs - ~$150-200 (you can install yourself..even if get a retrofit, you can install do it yourself if you have tools and skill and you can install yourself..there is a DIY for this)
LED tails - $200-$250 via eBay (you can install yourself. there is a DIY if you search the forum)
Springs - ~$350-500 (you can install yourself but I'll let a pro do it) - last thing

You're pretty much on the same boat as me. I wanted to mod mine but I didnt want to go overboard even though I dont have limited budget. I'm not handy myself but I was able to install all the interior leds, installed the led tails, installed my retrofit. Yea, took some bit of work, but I know what to do and a good learning experience.

But with a bit of searching on the forums, you'll get all the ideas and tutorials on how to do it. Questions you'll probably have on any of those products have probably been answered on the forums already. I'm probably the only person to purchase accessories/mods for my car before even owning it but I found everything I needed on the forums

My most expensive mod was my retrofit. Cost me about $900 to order extra set of headlights, have it done for me and buy additional parts. Only thing I havent done from the list above is springs.
