5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I'm done for now, but I got plans for next year, hopefully I can get these done by spring.
1. UltraRacing Front Strut Bar & Rear Sway Bar
2. TRD Springs (Something to back my TRD badges + I wanna keep my warranty)
3. LED Taillights
4. Dual magnaflow exhausts - Still not 100%
5. Some lip kit - Still deciding
1.. RKsport lipkit
2.. exhaust NO idea what (any Ideas)
3.. DVD/NAV(sold my old one)
4.. new 800 watt AMP (current one sucks)
5.. tints
6.. and if i was rich TWIN TURBO THE BITCH
ill have my own 2010 Camry SE V6 this summer. Then the real modding will begin! I'm talking lowering springs, rims, exhaust, intake, tint, HID, full audio system, and anything else that i see on here i like. I already have the funds. And the grandparents gave me a 30K limit so thats just enough for a loaded SE V6. I want black on black with the TRD rims.

IF i hadn't of just bought these rims........i'd of seriously considered trading it in for an IS300 (used ofcourse) found a great deal on one..fully loaded 30k 2003, for 17xxx...accident free...blue on black leather!
But i'll just wait now til it's paid off.
Plans -
Brakes
TRD STB
Coils maybe (my rear struts are screwed...depends on how much that will cost me to replace)

Probably all for next year.
What happened to your struts? Is it because of the lowering springs?
well for this year i still have exhaust to do. theres a vibrant muffler en route as of now but for 09 id like to get done the following:
1. full detailing to get rid of all the dang scratches and scuffs that appear on a car in a college parking lot
2. coil overs
3. front and rear sway bars
4. new audio/video system w/ custom enclosure(s)
5. intake (not sure on brand) and perhaps some other minor engine mods (no idea what kind yet)
6. most likely the SET lip kit but it depends on if any other lip kits or full body kits come out that i like between now and the end of 09
7. if i can find the money then custom leather and/or suede upholstery
8. and hopefully some sweet trophies from some car shows
