climate control - Auto mode - always to Leg?

2002 camry XLE.

Its cold out side... I have the temp set at around 75. After the motor warms up, I hit the "AUTO" button...
the blower goes full blast, AC light comes on.

BUT the vent mode always defaults to the "Leg"?

If I change to front & leg , it comes out of Auto

Just what my 2007 Owners Manual says should happen.......unless you have the dealer change the default settings.

that is normal. once you have cabin temp. 75, it's start blowing air from top and bottom.

that is happening in my lexus.

hot air make your face dry.

Hope that helps.

Try rereading post #2 for a 2007.

There are 8 A/C variables that can be changed.

I haven't read your 2002 Service manual.
