well since there isnt a DIY on how to set the fog lights to stay on with just the parking lights are the high beams for the 09 camry se...i think i'm gonna give it a shot. i believe the 07-09 camry's all have the same wiring...although i'm not positive. i'll take many pictures and do the write up later tonight.
if anyone has any tips on what to do i'd appreiacte it since i'm not totally sure of what i'm doing lol...but with the electrical background i have i think i'm right

wire pin 1 of the fog relay to any +12v source you wish. I use the ECU-ACC fuse and that allows me to have the fog lights on in any light stalk position, along with every key position except "off". I am still trying to find a way to:
a. Have them stay on with the low beams at night until i lock the car; i tried the ECU-B fuse and that kept the lights on even after i locked the car. The only thing that stays on is the dash optitron gauges and i thought maybe they would be switched to 0V after the car was locked but it didnt work.
b. disable DRL's. When i get the chance, I will try DRL Relay #3. From the wire schematics it seems this one is tied into the gauges so maybe it will work. Other than that, I have only heard the dealer can do it.
that is for V6, not i4 Camry
i4 doesnt have fog light relay to connect 12v source( or i dont see it)
i checked n look everywhere to find it, it doesnt look like the ĩ
im still looking for DIY for 07-09 i4 for my car.

what are you talking about??
whether a car is the V6 or the I4 has absolutely nothing to do with if it has a fog relay(and if you have fogs, you have a fog relay).
yeah check the manual book you will see.
i checked the V6 n it has a relay for the foglight, but the i4 doesn't.
the V6 relay box is inside the car n the i4 is under the hood.
its different. look at the manual n you will see.
i do have foglight n i said i dont see the relay, i dont know where it is because the manual doesnt say anything about it.
thx

i shouldnt even be so nice as to download and check the 07 and up manual to prove to you what you are saying doesn't make sense, but i did:
There is no distinction between the V6 or the I4 for the fog relay..

Good luck and for the DIY
i tied mine into the brake light fuse, i think thats the one. by the drivers knee panel. my fogs stay on at night when i get out of the car and go off with the low beams.

I would use that one, but the fogs will stay on only in the auto position(if dark out), parking light position, or ON position. I would not be able to turn my fogs on in the OFF position. Also, in your configuration, your DRL's will also be on. I personally think its ugly with the DRL's and fogs at the same time.
Once i get around to bringing it to the dealer to disable the DRL's, i will prob switch it to the tail light fuse like you.
well...i tried it...and failed lol...i got it to work with my parking lights when i put the 12v from the ecu-acc fuse...but when i started the car the fog lights would only work with the lights in the off position of the lights...does anyone no what i'm doing wrong ???? when i tried to jump a 12v from the tail lights i always had them on...i guess there's always power to the tail lights...and buddy...there is no difference in wiring between the i4 and the v6...engine size is the only difference. oh...now my fog lights dont even work i think i blew a fuse...but it was to dark out and i had class so i had to stop..i'll check again tomoro after my 8 class...hopefully i can get it to work...
the fuse box is different
V6 is inside the car n i4 is under the hood, n everything is different
im not against u guys im just saying n just looking for help n answer
thx

my friend, i think you did the same thing as me when i first tried this mod.. Did you make sure you were working with PIN 1 and not PIN 2??? Also, you need to bend the pin out so it does not go back in the socket, or else the mod wont work correctly. Get back to me and i will see if I can guide you through the mod.
As for the fog lights not working now.. if you wired it to PIN 2 instead of PIN 1, you sent voltage to the stalk, which basically messed the whole stalk up. I had to get mine replaced, luckily under warranty, at the dealer.

i used pin 2 at first then switched over to pin 1...what do you mean the stalk? just the relay or the whole panel board thinger lol..damn...my dealer is 4 hours from me lol...

there is a fuse box in both the inside of the car and under the hood...although i do not like where the fuse box is located inside of the car it us under the dash by the hood latch. the relays are located on the same box, just buried behind panels.
