I wonder how low you guys are running from the ground ? Especially the low riders. Also, what's the ideal height (minimum) that is ok to roll, consider urban area with decent road condition like socal.
im about 3.5" from the ground with the front lip, but then again, so are my side skirts. rear is maybe around at 4.5" (because of the rear lip)
undercarriage and piping is i would bet around 2-2.5" from the ground.
we have our fair share of good roads and bad roads here in vancouver, bc. i've seen plenty of cars rolling around my height, some vdubbers and miatas roll low because of their lip though (around 1" from the ground)

that's crazy.... one pothole, curb or large speedbump and it's all over...
well the thing is, with the large speed bump, i can always see them from afar so i know to avoid them or at least go slow. same goes for the potholes or curb. i've never been into an accident.
i set my coils pretty stiff too, that way IF on the event i hit an unexpected curb or bump, the whole car goes up and not just that wheel or what.
This summer I was driving me and my neighbor's little project miata and we had it slammed to maybe 1.5 inch up front...but we couldn't go as low in the rear because of our tires... This was daily driving in WV, where the roads definately suck...... Now he is driving it as I am back in school, and he raised it up quite a bit....
