To all gen 5 camry owners
this issue effects all gen 5 camrys, both V6 and I4....
have your popped your hood and found wetness on the left side of the engine near the power steering resivior or on the engine bay wall below the left strut tower? chances are your car is probably leaking power steering fluid from the upper p/s hose...this may suprise you, but there is a simple fix....if you notice it leaking around where the lines meet the resivior or where the upper power steering line meets the lower metal line, theres a good possibility the squeeze clamp holding the line has lost its grip and left the line loose and open to leak...mine was so bad that the line could be wiggled on the p/s resivor...
dont panic...get yourself some screw adjustible hose clamps and replace the cheap toyota squeeze clamps with the screw clamps...these hold tighter, and wont allow the leaks to happen...ill take a few pics of my engine bay tommrow to explain better
so gen 5ers, check your power steering system! ill have a few more ways to fix other common gen 5 power steering issues soon
