V6 or I4?
You can practically get any brand of muffler and have it custom, since there aren't many true catbacks that are direct bolt-ons, other then the TRD and Borla ones I believe.
Apexi and Tanabe are fairly quiet, you can bolt it just as an axle back, unless you do get a high flo cat and decide to run 2.5" or so from catback. I've got Tanabe axlebacks for my V6 and it's definitely quieter then both HKS and Apexi.

So reading all the posts about exhaust, I don't see anyone talking about actually using the Borla bolt on for a v6 SE...Hell, little about the TRD either...See alot of "custom" but for us morons...what does that mean??
Thanks... I'd like to toss a few more mods in before track day June 1...Just bought the helmet...almost ready!!!

i just had my custom vibrant cat-back put on. basically you buy a universal muffler and take it to an exhaust shop, tell em what size pipes, whether to leave the resonator, etc. tell em what you want and then they weld it on

I'm not into exhausts as you all know, but that black exhaust certainly does look good and stock-like, Peach. But how did you get that rash on the bumper? I hope you get that fixed soon - it spoils the awesome Magnetic Grey look.

got a newer, blacker, stock-er looking exhaust.. (same flow as my previous HKS)
pulled my tints..
Peach i think you forgot the TURBO part.
Is that a Vibrant muffler? Because that's what i put in my car but i only changed the muffler. I think the sound is great not raspy until i hit high RPMs.
