Gen6 Seat Belt?

Anyone have any issues with the seatbelts?

Yesterday my passenger side seatbelt wouldn't "rewind" and was stuck in lock. I have no idea why it did that.

This morning I went to see if it was still stuck but it turned out that it is fine now. It locks and rewinds like it should now. Figures it fixes itself before i take it to the dealer to have it checked out.

Don't waste any time getting your car into service. Safety equipment operation should be at the top of their priority list.

Tell them what happened, make it sound a little worse and say that it happen a few times so they can just change it.

Seat belts are too important to get lazy with.

Try this first. Pull your seat belt all the way out in one continuous motion. This should put it in a manual lock mode. It doesn't have much retraction power and it locks so once it retracts a little, it won't pull out any farther. This is a feature you can use when strapping in a baby seat or a bulky item like a TV so it stays secure.

Gen6

This happened to me, on the drivers side belt. I got in and started driving and all was fine, a few minutes later I leaned forward and when I leaned back the belt didn't retract. I pulled into a parking lot and tried to retract it unsuccessfully.

I brought it to the dealer first thing in the morning and got a free convertible rental while my car was sitting on their lot for the weekend whist they awaited the needed part.

So far, so good.

I'd recommend bringing to a dealer immediately and have them replace the failing/ed part.
