Anyone picked up a CF hood from VIS for their Gen5 yet? I talked briefly with someone at VIS named Jason, he said they're in stock, and cost $400, plus shipping ($100 to ship to where I live, Oregon, USA).

Unfortunately, their website doesn't actually show a picture of the hood on the car, like most of their other products do...

I'm kinda curious to see how well it meshes with the look of a darker Gen5.

actually change of plans, Ima get the hood tomorrow...muuaahhhh...and get the intercooler in about february...i'll keep you guys updated in a few weeks

i was wondering the same thing about the hood. i don't live that far away from Vis, too. i should really go and check it out. i know that there was some bad blood with Vis and the people of Team SC3's forum who pre-ordered the hoods.

i was going to go to look at it and make sure the only holes i'll have to drill are the ones for the window sprayers and for the (maybe) hood pins. i need to find some black hood pins for the hood, if i ever decide to get it.
