New 09 v6 Camry Owner Wants To Upgrade But Doesnt Know What To Upgrade First
Hey whats up guys just bought a new Black v6 09 Camry LE and i wanted to start upgrading stuff with the car but I'm worried as to not void the warranty on my new Camry. What can i upgrade and mess around with on the car without voiding the warranty? Is there anything that I can really do to the car w/o voiding the warranty?
If your asking me why I'm so paranoid abt voiding the warranty, it's because I'm a college student and if I upgrade anything to my car, its already coming out of my pocket, and if I void the warranty and anything goes wrong with the car, its going to be coming out of my pocket again. Also, I drive this car to and from school and to and from work, so it is important for me to make sure that this car stays in a working condition with warranty intact.
What did you guys upgrade first when you bought your cars? Thanks for the advice.
Go back to bed, your warranty will be safe and sound.
J/K!!!
HID kit, LED tails, new wheels, springs, bars, lip kit won't void warranty if installed correctly.
About voiding the warranty, just put it this way, if you installed a lowering springs, and your engine breaks down, they can't blame the springs for it, right? Same thing for the other components.
Just don't touch anything you're not familiar with.
dont worry man
im a senoir in HS now want the same thing here bro
now back to u
1- Tint
2- Rims
3- LED
4- HID( i took it out last time when i was at the dealership bc i had some electric problem)
oh well its up to u
why dont u check my cardomain n other on here
almost everyone here is on there
check out what u like n see if u want to do it or not
good luck with yur new ride
oh i forgot to add, i already have rims and a dual exhaust on it
and i live in NJ
so tints are illegal on front side windows
and idk if theres really a point on just getting them for the back two and rear window...heh, would you guys really get them for just the back?
i would just get the lightest tint possible for the back so it won't make such a shade difference. supposely tint despite the shade blocks the same amount of UV rays? someone double check this for me haha.
i live in VA
i got 50% infront n 35% in back
i like it
but only in back? idk i wouldnt do it sorry to hear that from where u live.
post some pics
do u have a car domain?
check out mine
yeah kenny i just checked yours out, pretty sweet ride bro, i really like your rims and how they light up and night, that stuff is pretty legit
naw i dont have a car domain, i got my car 2 weeks ago but i havent taken pics of it yet, i know shame on me haha, ill try and take some tomorrow if i get a chance
yeah the tint laws in NJ are pretty crappy. People from PA get pulled over all the time because there tint laws are different, so they come into NJ with different tints and get tickets for it heh
thx
but hope this will go good for u bro
i hate it when i first got this car without tint
feel like too much light inside my car bc my old had tint on.
i just wish it i can go 35% in front but im happy with what i had bc i got black interior so it make look like it really dark at night.
let us see what u got ok?

Here is what mine looks like. I live in a state that doesn't allow tint on the front windows either, well, legally that is. You get used to how it looks. Mine is 20%. (not a gen 6 but you get the idea) Hope that helps.
man that sucks I got lucky that I live on TX I got limo tint all around
Dude, how do you get through inspections with limo tint in TX? I used to live there and they wouldn't pass inspection if the tint was too dark, but maybe things have changed in 10 years. Sweet looking SE though
oh, another pretty crappy rule in NJ, i can't have LEDS on the outside of my car, so toyotaoem09, i was looking at your cardomain and noticed you were Texas, if you turned your LEDS on the bottom of ur car on at night in NJ, u would get pulled over so quickly it would make your head spin =P
