Gen5 75K Miles Fluids Changes?

2005 Camry with 75,000 miles. Do I change the power steering fluid, and the brake fluid?

Thanks for feedback.

You can if you want. I highly recommend a brake fluid flush/bleed if you haven't yet done it yet. I like Castrol LMA or Valvoline Synthetic. You will need 1 quart to bleed the entire system.

Power steering fluid, I would get 1 or 2 quarts of Dexron III and a turkey baster. Then remove and replace the fluid in the reservoir every oil change. Don't let the fluid level get lower than the hoses in the reservoir. You don't want to get air in the system.

by 75 thousand miles, he definitely changed his pads and rotors. if this is the case, he should've already bleeded his system at the install.

I havent done mine yet, but I would just check the brake fluid level on your master cylinder. If its close to "minimum" i would flush it =D

Not necessarily depending on how he drives. I've seen cars do over 100 thousand miles on original pads with no need for replacement.

Does the turkey baster technique (using a baster from an autoshop, not a real turkey baster) work for the brake fluid as well, or does the brake fluid have to be bled?

Nope, don't do that. You can get a 1 man bleed kit for about $10 if you don't have someone to help you.
