Want to make my Camry Nicer.

Ive been looking into getting alloy rims for my car and maybe dropping it to make the wheel gap smaller. I already have a rim style in mind and ive seen photos of this type of rim on the same type of car i have and it looks really smooth. I heard that each rim is 10lbs heavier than the steelies with hub caps, is this becuase its not OEM but replicas or alloys is always heavier? also what kind of suspension/shocks/struts/coils have the best handling/ smoothness of the ride and such?

these are the rims i have in mind:

You do realize that replicas won't be as good as OEM, right?

That's why I jumped on the SE instead of the IS replicas just like that one.

Let's say you hit a large pothole, replicas will bent easier than OEM.

I was gonna get the IS replica, but I got the OEM SE wheels instead.

i just took my Gen 5 SE rims off for good...if they were in better condition (they were banged up already when i bought the car) and you liked them...i'd sell'em cheap to you.

But next winter i'm using them as winter rims
