I was thinking of getting a injen intake for my 03 camry se v6. i know it a waste of money because it don't really do anything but would like opinion from other memeber who have one.
they sound ok....i had one took it off cause it was pointless. dont hit a puddle thats too big, hydrolock :] but like i said it just makes your car seem like a bigger engine
yea, my homeboy got a intake in his 05 accord and it was sucking in air from the bottom fender, he ran over a puddle and this intake suck in water and damage his engine. he recently just replace his engine with a TSX engine.
^ lol. yeah the prefilter just help keep the filter cleaner for a longer period of time, but large amount of water can get through. with that being said. its not a cold air intake( extended piping) so the chances of hydrolocking is very low unless you drive with the hood open lol jk.
dna, lol i take it slow during rain and snow. just cruising unlike you know who...'_' haha
edit: loudcamry, since you have the 1mz-fe, i am not sure if the gen1/1.5 solara cpe mafci will work due to different wiring etc

that sucks dude, now at least he's got a bit more power :P
I have a intake on my accord... well a filter + some pipe because i dont have a MAF. I spent 50 on a good aem filter and i really like the sound of it! Im not sure if i would spend 200+ for the same thing though... it wouldnt be worth the money $.
