Problems with stock 6CD stereo LCD - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

This week I've been having problems with the LCD on my stereo (Australian Aurion - 6CD changer)

Monday - the 2 knobs at the top wouldn't work, turned but nothing happened. Pushing them in still worked. Steering wheel buttons worked & the knobs worked when I drove again so I didnt worry.

Wednesday - LCD didnt work aside from a few cells, pushed at the top over the CD slot & it worked again. That afternoon the same thing & same fix.

Thursday - LCD half worked, didnt fix when I pushed it. In the afternoon it was all fine agan.

Friday - LCD was half jumbled & mostly 'black' (or cell 'active'), didnt fix when I pushed the top.

I was going to just pull it out & check connections cos I thought I might have loosened one when I had the console out a few weeks ago & its gradually worked its way out.

Warranty should cover that since it is quite expensive for a new headunit.

Unless there is an answer to correct this.
