Factory alarm and LED interior lights problem

I found out something very interesting today. My factory alarm for my GEN 6 has been buggin' out for a little while. What would happen was that in the morning when I unlock my car for the first time, the alarm would go off for 2 seconds and stop and unlock the car. Then when it comes time to lock the car, it would chirp 3 times instead of once.

I finally brought it to the dealership to get it fixed and they found out that the LED interior lights I put in are changing the amount of voltage circulating around the interior. So since the lights are in their would be an over voltage and trick the alarm system into thinking that the door is open when it really isn't.

Please correct if I'm wrong. I will not be offended.

Did you try swapping your LED back to the original bulbs? Did it fix the problem?
