My only hope is that they have a lot of left-over superchargers they can ship to the U.S. for us Gen6 V6 owners.

I read about this on a local forum. It's a shame but to be perfectly honest Toyota Australia's TRD effort was pathetic. They release a couple of really ordinary cars and charge the earth for them (the Australian market was never going to accept a large FWD performance car). TRD Australia also offered absolutely nothing in the way of accessories. All those trick TRD exhausts, suspension bits, engine parts etc you guys get in the US were not available here. Nothing at all!

So now Toyota Aus are even less likely to ever pursue building or importing a performance car again. Hooray for whitegoods!
