Exclamation Buzzing sound in dash? 2009 Camry SE

I have a "buzzing" sound coming from the left of my steering wheel sort of lower down a bit. It sounds like a cell phone vibrating ring...so similar my wife keeps thinking my phone is ringing. It really only makes the noise from between 20-55 mph. Any ideas on that?

I was thinking it could be a traction control problem. My car is HORRIBLE in the snow. My wifes 2000 Chrystler Concorde had no problem getting up our street last week whereas we had to push my Camry up the same hill, same conditions.

Any ideas on either of those issues? Could they be connected?

Thanks!

Gen6

Not positive on what would be causing it but I have learned from my 2008 Camry SE that the colder it is the more things "buzz" and make noise. That is my only complaint about the car is the interior noise, other than that I love it. I'm sure if you do a search you will see that cold and noises are quite common in the Gen6. Good Luck.

I have a buzzing noise in my 07 LE V6. I notice it usually, in the morning. In the same area as the OP has identified. Sounds like an electronic buzz.
I just turn up the radio.

As far as the snowy conditions, did you get the proper tires?

I was told it was "normal"

I have a 2008 Camry. This same noise started for me in MN when it got cold. Now it's almost constant. Today, the dealer said it was "normal", a result of a vacuum tube associated with the power assist brakes. I think it sounds very electrical, and I am incredulous about this. Did you get any answers/relief/fixes?

I hope I dont get any of this. I have an 09 SE too. I personally will take out my entire frustration at the dealership to the point they almost call the cops if this happened to my car. ESP if I get told what you were told amyhinmn.

Are you sure it's not coins shaking inside the coin drawer to the left of the steering column?

Haha I keep my quaters in the center console, I use that coin drawer to keep the security card for the doors at my work.
