Rim experts, Peach needs help

I need more advice on this, I already consulted w/ the rim guru (moky), and we're still stuck...

Will a 17x10 +35 clear the rear struts without spacers? Thank you!

Peachy

Mmmm, I doubt it actually.

I did 19x9.5 at +35 and I barely had a finger gap, which is around 3/8", between tire and strut

If you stretch tires, then it'll be very close, tough call indeed. Would be perfect with like an extra 3mm or 5mm, but I doubt you'd want to run spacers at all.

The difference from 9.5 at +35 and 10 at +35 is having the wheel be 6mm closer to the strut, which is a very very close call, but then it equivalents to less then a 1/4" of an increase, so it sounds possible actually. Stretching the tires so that there is almost next to no tire sticking over the wheel itself may solve it.

The thing about 17x10, is that even if it does clear, I have a feeling that the whole wheel itself might stick out of your fenders a bit.

epsilon has a 20x10 rear with a 25 offset and it sticks out a lot.
the only way is if the set is there, test it already.

if your rim clears the strut, then you'll have no probs with the tires. 245/45/17 on a 10 is a wicked stretch!
