Hey guys,

I gotta get my car inspected soon(expires this month) and I have the fog light mod, which is they can turn on and off independently of the low beams. During inspection, will this pose a problem? I dont want to go there and fail just because of that. It is a 20 min switch to put it back to stock but that requires me to get under my dash and take a few panels off, which is not fun in the cold.

Also, does anyone know if the dealership service dept does inspection? If so, would they be stricter in any way because they are a toyo service dept? If they do inspections, I would see if they could hook my car up to their computer to disable the DRLs

I wouldnt worry about fogs, i believe they only check the head and tails lights and signals.
And yes toyota dealers do inspections, same price as any shop. Not sure if they are any less or more strick but they are quicker.

Have you personally gotten your inspection done at toyota? Maybe i should call them up or make a visit... Only thing im worried about is having to wait a long time.. A gas station will take 40 mins to do, max.

LOL I called my local service dept and they said they dont have any more stickers!! I would have to wait until at least Friday. Is this because the changing of the month/year? The lady didnt even answer my question about getting my DRL's disabled either.

yea i got mine done last month at my dealer, make a early morning appt and it should be in and out

And to your other post, probably since alot of ppl get cars before the ends so one yr later has to be reinspected and the lad probably had no idea what you where asking lol
