if the battery drops to 9 volts, how many hours of driving does it take to recharge?
if the battery drops below 9V, how many hours of driving does it take to recharge? (back to 12V ~ 13V) or should I be looking for a new battery?
this is the OE Toyota battery that came with my '07 Camry I-4, with just 15,000 miles. I didn't drive it for about 10 days and it was parked out in freezing temperature(32 and below, during daytime). When I went to start it again, it did start, but the not very easily. I turned off the car and took out my voltemeter. The reading was only 9V to 9.2V.
About 30min-1hour should get it up to a good charge.

You probably should look at replacing the battery. It should not have gone to 9 volts without a serious drain, even in those cold temperatures. Assuming though that the battery is still functional, at 9 volts, it is fully discharged. It can be recharged but there are limits to the rate. Presuming a 55 amp hour battery, it can handle about 12 amps for the first hour and it will drop off to 10, 8, 3, 2 amps over coming hours. Though 30 minutes driving will get it to a 12 volt measurement, the battery isn't charged until it needs no more than a trickle, and this could be several hours, either driving or hooked to a charger.
I've had batteries last 4 months on a new car and 8 years on a new car. There is no way to know, but if itn't holding a charge for a reasonable period of time, then go down to Pep Boys and get a new one. If you feel the car is still under the 3/36 warranty then talk to the dealer about a new battery under warranty.

I had my battery completely dead when the car was 3 months old - car was 4 weeks in the cold garage (0F), no driving and an interior light on. This battery was dead, not a peep, nada, njet, nichts....took me a while before I even could start the car. Anyway, battery recovered by simply driving it. I did have the battery tested a week later and they stated it charges and holds the charge just fine. Now, a year later the same battery works just fine.
