5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
This weekend my fiance and I bought the new 2004 Camry SE V6. It was a toss up between this car and the accord. I haven't really drove it much because it has snowed all weekend and the car isn't broken in yet only 30 miles. Does anyone else have this car? What do you think about it?
my rents just got one, its an '03 tho, so you got 10 more hp. my dad loves it. hes been wanting a sunroof for 15 years and finally got one. his last 4 cars have been I4s, so he also loves the power of the v6. it also came with trd suspension which helps with handling, and it sits a bit lower, looks really good
it is my first V6 also I can't wait til I can stomp on it to see what it can do hopefully it will be a big difference over my other 2 cars. I have a 92accord and a 93 accord that is modded quite a bit. So far though it is probably one of the smoothest riding cars I have ever driven. I think my only mod is going to be K&N drop in filter for the camry though.
It's a nice big comfy cruising car...what colour did you get? My parents have a 03 V6 LE, pretty nice car. Good idea not modding it yet, just keep it stock until the warranty runs out. Just play with the accords....
I can't believe how much space this car his it is huge inside. Yes it does have the 3.3 VVTI it is just as pretty as a honda Vtec hehe. We went all out and got leather, sunroof, spoiler, 6 disc etc. this car is sweet I'll take pics and have them on later today. This car's suspension rocks the only other car I've driven that compares to the smooth ride is my fiance's mom's lexus rx300 it feels like you are floating on air.
To answer your question the car is toyota super white-it was the showroom model and has a nice coat of wax on it right now.
The last pic sucks damnit! Anyways I will get some better pics and also an engine shot this is the best I can do now since it is 10 freaking degrees outside
Nice car. If you went all out with that you should have just got the Lexus ES330. Thats what my gramps did, it's one of the nicest cars I have ever driven in. And yeah, it's fast! I've done 0-60 in just at 7 seconds, not bad for a stock luxury car, but needs more low end torque. A supercharger would be very nice.
This car is pretty much identical to the Es330 even has the same engine but I saved about 10 grand on the sticker price. I'll drive a fancy toyota over a lexus and save 10 grand anyday.
