USA 09 Camry Power Adapter Positions

So I personally like having a couple of gadgets in my car. The problem they really don't have a nice area for a power adapter for things like GPS units, Radar Detectors, etc.

The one next to the arm rest is perfect for like cell phones, while the one inside the door compartment (below the radio, next to the AUX jack) is good for things like ipods.

But that being said, even if you have an external satellite radio/car kit adapter this device needs to be mounted outside somewhere, which means needs to be plugged in to a power adapter and the aux jack, which is hidden.

I guess the best thing would be to simply spend the money, and have something that looks better anyways for a nice GPS navigation radio w/ ipod and satellite radio capabilities.

But what about those who have the factory basic radio, and want to have a dash mounted Knight Rider GPS unit! haha

I'm starting this thread to see if anyone has any thoughts and suggestions, or perhaps pictures of their setups on how they have external devices hooked up. Radar detectors, GPS units, satellite radio, mp3 players (other than using IPOD ready radio adapters kits), etc...

I don't want a bunch of wires where it looks pretty bad, after all this is a nice 2009 Camry....but still I like to have some of my gadgets I don't even know where to put a CB radio in this thing.

Thank you for your time.

Did you know that there are two small panels that pop off to allow wires to enter/exit the hidden console box. This should facilitate access to power and AUX inputs for you.

He did say he didn't want to see wires. But ya, this is what I did too. I have an AUX cable and mini USB coming out of this hole. I need to make it retractable but I don't know how yet. Well, more like dont' really care for it.

I just got the car. Found the hole for the right side only.

What about the windsheild where the status icons are (seatbelt, etc) Is there any easy way to feed the wire there to have it appear near the leg room to run it back up to the power adapter?
