Researching mini-vans. Sienna vs. Odyssey

I've been researching mini-vans to accommodate our growing family. I'm not big on mini-vans but the truth of the matter is vans offer versatility and function. I like the styling of the Honda, but the Sienna beat it hands down on all other categories. To set the van apart from others I am researching aftermarket support. Seems that Honda has more in that aspect. Which would you buy given that both are reliable, fuel efficient, and can hold a good amount of cargo? One off bodykit. Mugen bodykit.

i swear man, in HK during christmas 2008, nearly every toyota van i saw there had been done up. toyota high-aces with volk te37s, a lot of toyota previas and estimas and alphards were done up VIP.
now the sienna looks ugly as sin compared to the other toyota vans...

I have to agree with this

Drive them both one right after the other and you will see the Honda "feels" better on the road. Somehow Toyota managed to get that 'disconnected" feel in the way the Sienna drives.

I am a die hard Toyota fan, but I will most likely buy the Odyssey when it comes time to upgrade my wife's RAV 4 to something larger.

I have (or was) driven in Alphards a lot while working abroad - these are the larger, top end van's and nothing compares to what you can buy here. And yes, I love the car scene in HK...got to love the lowered space wagons.

I'd get an Oddysey...

fabulous rims.. 19x12, 19x10
slammed, cambered, poked
GT40R
curtains... done interior, garson, JP...
ahhhh man. The moment I get a family and my wife tells me to sell my car for a minivan, she won't know what hit her.
