Gen6 Highlander Wheel Fitment On Gen 6

I am very much interested in putting the 08-09 highlander 5 spoke sport rims on my gen 6. They are 19" by 7.5" with a 35mm offset. I am not to sure if i will have fiment problems though. I have done some research on here an saw that 2 members had the 19 inch hybrid rims on there cars, and read that one of them had to shave his front calipers due to fitment. So i want to find out if these will fit without me having to shave my calipers and roll my fenders, and if they do fit will i have any other problems, any recommendations by you all would be great? What tire size would fit best?

Here are some pics ->>>

I was planning on having the rear wheels have a wider look, maybe by adding wheel spacers??? is this the best option to do this or is there another option, also if it is what brand?style?

Thanks in advance for everyone's time!

19x7.5 with 35mm offset is no problem...just due to the inner spoke design do they touch the caliper at the other TN'rs Camry.

I would simply use a 5mm spacer all around. That makes it pretty flush with the fender and would not be a problem (just don't slap too big of tires on the relative thin 7.5" rims).

^^^ +1 on a 7.5" wheel, the best tire to go for is 225/40/19 or the more pricey 235/40/19

Ok great, so your saying that because of the inner design on these spokes i wont have any rubbing or fitment problems...sounds great thanks!

How do you think they look?

If the once you have in mind are the same as the other TN'er has...use the 5mm spacer to avoid the rubbing on the caliper and get a more flush look at the same time.

can't really go wrong with a classic 5spoke design

btw, ROTA makes a similar looking wheel
it's called Rota QUAKE and they make it in a better size, 19x8"
