Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
i was thinking of going to coilovers for my car, but i have heard numerous people have had issues with the Ksports
i wish we had more coilover options for the gen 5
A couple do. They are rock hard but handle bomb!
V6secamry said it's so rough that your intestines hurt LOL
But others have gotten used to the ride and don't care.
It's a personal trade off of style and handling for comfort..

well I used to have ksport, I didnt had a issue with them. It was just the spring rates that came with it was just too high 9-10kg front and 5-kg rear. I parted out my car and sold most of the parts(ask punks lol he has my sway bar) last year, and lucky enough I was able to find new ways paying for school fees and such. I lucked out because a few ppl at tein were able to make me a custom set for my car (04).
The ksport handled pretty well, but the ride was alot stiffer than say lowering springs. Another factors is road conditions. if you live area with alot of potholes....with the ksport you will definitely feel EVERY bump and hole.
Not lowered much, just riding on the TRD springs, no other changes.
I recently changed from 225-50-17 to 245-45-18 and like the ride better. A bit smoother ride I think. I hated the Goodyear ResponsEdges I had on before, the Falken Ziex ZE-912 I now have are not as loud and handle pretty decent. I feel all the imperfections in the road and the wider tire has a tendency to follow the cracks in the road but the ride is not bad.

Love my 225/45/18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus on TRDs. It is solid as a rock and handles 2x better than before. Also lowered on TRDs, body roll is almost none existent now unless I try to take a 25mph exit at 75mph
randy, apparently the benefit of the 4 point chassis brace is to aid in chassis flex when cornering or hitting a bump...it helps with the flex and movement of the lower control arms due to road shock
sign me up! my car bump steers like a mofo
