Hey guys! I'm planning on putting a system into my 02 Camry LE, and was wondering what brand of subs and amp i should get. Any opinions? I'm only 16 so I'm limited to about $500 max for a nice enclosure for 2 12"s and a nice amp and wiring...and are there sub outputs on the stock head unit? If not I'll also need a reccomendation from you guys as well lol...I have been researching many audio companies, and have been seeing mixed reviews. My friend recently got Pioneer 12"s in his car and I really want some lol...Plase let me know what your opinoins are! Thank you!

I would go with Image Dynamics over Pioneer any day. If you want sound quality, go with an IDQ12 or maybe ID 12. They are some sweet sounding subs. For $500, I would just go with one IDQ12 or ID12, sealed enclosure, and a amp that puts out about 300W RMS. Two subs aren't always better than one; it really depends on the sub and setup - less you just want it for show.
I would stick with either Rockford Fosgate or JL audio. That's just my opinion.
But if you will go with one single sub, get a 12".
+1 on the JL Audio equipment. I am a JL person even though their stuff is kind of high (but you get what you pay for).
You could do a JL 10" or 12" W3v3 with a 250/1. At the right shop, you could get these items, an amp kit and probably install (unless you are doing this yourself) for at or maybe slightly over $500. I know 3 shops in my hometown that would do this, so just shop around.
+ 1 on all the comments above - take one 12" and a decent amp. I got quotes of $750 for my setup when done by a shop with a standard sealed enclosure (amp $204, 12" shallow sub $199, wiring kit, LOC, enclosure, install). I bought all parts online, build the enclosure, and wired and paid maybe half (bought too much little stuff to build the enclosure - mdf, glue, terminal, fiber fill, carpet, sealer, screws....).
Note on the setup - simplest way is to use a PAC Trunk LOC - comes with amp remote turn on, which avoids having to take the dash apart or similar.

Not going to judge him and assume stuff BUT most people that want to add subs into a car at 16 want Quantity and loudness. Even if that means adding 6 low quality subs and using a amp with its gain at full and clipping to power the sub(s)...
you can alway buy a use subwoofer and amp. Do the installation yourself, it will be fun and rewarding.
I say buy a used JL 12w3v2 or the v3,($70.00-200) and the JL 250/1( $150) or a Alpine MRD M605($150), 4 awag wire kit(40 buck). you can also buy a used alpine deck.
My first audio system was all used stuff, i start moving up a bit when i got the extra money.
You can get cheap audio system from your local craiglist or go deal with someone at your local audio shop.
I just sold my JL 12w6v2 and a JL 500/1 for 400 buck, the system was pretty loud.

A good setup with a single 12, can, has, and will blow away a crappy setup with dual 12s. I've seen it myself.
My friend used to have dual 15s with 1kW RMS. While I couldn't touch him where SPL was concerned, I blew him out of the water with my single 12 with 300W RMS at SQL. So I do understand that concept.
For $500, he could probably get that Infinity Basslink with a 10" sub and 2 passive 12" radiators. It looks like 3 subs...
Even with a 300w amp, it still sounds damn good. I found one at the local stereo shop already in a enclosure. I took out my two 10's and had them throw that 12" in the trunk just to see what it sounds like. I was really impressed.
