Group Buy - $179 Image Dynamics CTX65CS, FREE Speaker & Tweeter Mounts

will need 6 guys to make this fly.

$179 + $20 shipping = $199

OOPS! Typo. This will be pretty heavy with speakers and adapters.

Free 1" OUTDOOR grade MDF (not cheap mdf) speaker mounts
Free Tweeter mounts
Free Bolt Kit

These are Image Dynamics Entry Level Compents - But they are FAR from entry. WE have sold a number of these speakers with nothing but great reviews!

The group buy will end Jan 24, 2009. If I don't have 6 guys the price will be $225.

ID INFO:

The CTX speakers are the affordable solution for the autosound enthusiast seeking a high performance speaker system. With a rich well balanced sound and excellent tonal characteristics that highlight the incredible detail. CTX speakers are engineered to make efficient use of every watt allowing them to shine at any power level. A secondary benefit fo this high efficiency is that they are capable of very high output levels.

The CTX use materials most manufacturers reserve for use in their top of the line speakers. Silk dome tweeters with neodymium magnets, polypropylene mica filled cones that are stiff, yet light, and well-damped, nitrile butadiene rubber surrounds. The result is sound quality that is far beyond expectations and far beyond their price points.

CTX component coaxial speakers feature a long excursion mid-woofer design that handles high-power amplifiers effortlessly with low distortion allowing higher output levels. The Silk Dome CTX tweeters deliver the dynamics and detail of a metal dome tweeter without the listening fatigue normally associated with metal domes.

You could do either. If you are adding or have subs, putting them in the rear deck could be a wash since they will be serving as rear fill mostly. In that case they are better suited in the doors. My personal preference is to have the tweets as close to woofer as possible, so I'm going to mine together in the stock door spot (want to keep a factory look without cutting into the doors). I'm not sure if I'm going to disconnect the stock tweet in tweet in the dash or use it for additional highs since my W7 will quite loud! LOL!

Just food for thought...you have great flexibility. Just first decide what type of sound you are going for then that will tell you where is the best placement for your taste.

Wish I could put a huge sub in the seat so it can give me massage while listening to the great bass.

Thanks anabolik1, I have been leaning towards getting subs for the rear deck but still want to have a clear highs, with good volume control.
