Gen5 Brake Pad Replacement help...

Hey guys,

I am planning to change my front brake pads, and my question is, "How tight should I tighten the bolts?"

When I changed the brake pads and the brake disc, aka rotor, on a 2000 Honda accord, I was informed to tighten to caliper bracket bolts to 54 fl-lbs.

Do you guys know how tight they should be on a 2003 4cyl camry?

Thanks for the help in advance.

25ft-lbs

I stumbled upon an old thread where a user referred to the Autozone website for diagrams.

If 25ft-lbs doesn't seem right, please let me know.

Thanks.

don't rely on old threads... get a haynes or chilton manual for your car... they're only ~$20 or so. it'll have all the torque specs you'll need.
