Radio signal boost on navi

I bought an aftermarket navi from ebay; however, the radio signal is horrendous. I've seen on other units (i.e. pioneer) where they direct you to connect the power antenna cable to the antenna circuit (not too sure about the specific connection there). Has anyone else had this problem with aftermarket units? Is there a way to increase reception on Camry's window mounted antenna?

Just in case anyone is wondering...yes I did use the search feature. My issue is getting consensus on which wire (on the car harness side) is actually the power antenna cable for a 2009 Camry. Any ideas?

PM me your e-mail and I can send you the pdf file describing the entire wiring in your camry.

if it helps:

premium receiver:
ANT (F26-13) - GND (F26-20)
O - BR
Power source of antenna Radio switch ON and AM or FM
10 to 14 V

standard receiver:
ANT (F6-8) - GND (F6-7)
O - BR
Power source of antenna Radio switch ON and AM or FM
10 to 14 V

ANT is + and GND is -, F26 and F6 are the connectors on the premium (JBL) or standard receiver, the next number is the pin location.
the next column is the color (O-BR), next is the function with co condition, last is voltage range
