5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Import Tuner has an interesting article on modding the IS 250, though I think it's relevant for our Camrys as well. They wanted to keep the warranty intact on the car, so they used mostly Lexus F Sport parts. They added an exhaust, air intake and spark plugs, for a grand total of over $2000 in parts and labor. The result was.... 10 horsepower gained and a few foot-pounds of torque. As measured on a dyno.
if it took you 30 whole seconds to read this thread... I'd suggest for you to take some reading classes
he said clicking the thread took 30 sec... he doesn't need reading classes, he needs faster internet....
And when'd you change your name? I was reading your other post about 3" piping and was thinking, "we have another boosted cam?" until I realized it was you
idk.
i think most people will mod for personal pleasure also
like for me and my friends
it gives us something to do after school.
its fun to jack up ur car and throw on some lowering springs,
sparkplugs, sway bars, intakes,..ect
the only thing is. what is guna happen when i run out of reasonable stuff to do haha.

he must have dial up lol and i agree ill never get back the nano sec (not 30 sec) of my life that i wasted on clicking on this thread
p.s. i gained 100hp with my roof over lay
Nope DSL, but 30 sec just sounded like a nice round number to throw in there at the time.
All my mods are for looks, no performance gained. Even my exhaust, i just changed the muffler to get a different tone. I heard my car for the first time from outside, i told my friend to do a drive by and it wasn't as loud as it sounds when in the car. Sweet.
