I finally got new BBS RK wheels for my car under warranty as the old ones were peeling. After the dealer got the new wheels in, I decided that I wanted to install something different, so I ordered chrome BBS RS II's and installed them instead of the RK's. At first I didn't like them at all, but they are really starting to grow on me.

The sand Camry hybrid next to my car is my rental. As the technician loosened up my belt tensioner the bottom tensioner stud broke. Apparently the nut came of the stud (or was left off when the tensioner was replaced last which is the most likely cause) and the tensioner slid to the end of the stud. The stud then broke off and broke the front engine cover at the same time leaving the stud broken in the engine block. All this because the waterpump that was replaced 10 months ago is leaking AGAIN! Ugh. Oh well, that happens now and again.

I recently got a Tom Tom and found a great place to put it.

The waterpump started leaking from the bearing seal AGAIN. Ugh. I'm just lucky I guess. The technician felt awful and kept apologizing to me over and over. I was right there and he didn't do anything wrong. I'm glad that I have the car where it is. A lazy ass technician may have just pulled the broken stud piece and installed a new one without replacing the cover. I wouldn't have known for a long time because you can't really see it and the cover leak is so small.

I really like that fact that there aren't any valve stems in the wheels. I didn't even know that when I purchased them.

They're two piece wheels and measure 18 X 8.5 with a + 40 offset. The RK's were 7.5 inches wide so the tires are more stretched now and don't look quite as meaty. I will replace the 235's with P245/40R18's when I wear these out, which will be a long time.
