5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
A teenager is dead and another in stable condition after the car they were traveling in veered off the road, hit a tree and split in two. It is believe the 17 year old was racing. It is a Toyota Camry SE Phantom Grey, looking like a 2002-2004 model. Sorry, their are no pictures available yet. When I find any I'll post a link. In the meantime, here is a link to the story.
I think they should remove seatbelts from the driver's side of cars.
it's ridiculous there's more safety features for the passenger than the idiotic teenage driver.

+1 I know the road very well, you never drive fast on it in any car.
I was thinking the same thing. Veirs Mill Rd is not the type of road one should be driving at break neck speeds on (or honestly any road for that matter).
A truly unfortunate event for all those involved.

my camry wont split in half because i dont intend on racing it or hitting trees with it
What make U think the tree won't come to U?
Once in the news, I think a log truck crossing on the bridge on top. Something happen and the log came off and fall down to a guy driving below. I think he was pronounce immediate death.
