I got them from tein directly, as they were custom made for my camry.

edit:
Just as Phatroyle stated, all coilovers will be harsher than stock no matter what. But if you can go lower in spring rates or lessen your preload(assuming you put too much preload) the ride comfort will not be so bad.

Pre-load refers to tension on the springs while there is no weight on the spring(car in the air)

The Megans allows two ways of ride height adjustment.

1.) You can adjust the lower spring seat up or down. Adjusting here changes where the strut shaft sits, so adjusting ride height this way changes suspension travel and changes spring preload. With the Megans, you do not want too much preload, too much preload= harsher ride. You want the spring to be snug but not compress because the megans will allow to you further adjust the height by using #2 below

2.) You can adjust the bottom ring which controls where the bracket sits on the strut. Adjusting with the lower mount simply moves the whole strut assembly relative to the chassis without changing suspension travel or changing spring preload.

darksparkz: I know you are interested in the tein ss. With the tein super street, you adjust ride height using #1.

hope this helps

edit: here are some pics of my ksports

the ksport adjustability is the same as the megans coilovers

here are my tein super street

Actually, I was just on Tein's website and they quoted:

Full Length Adjustable -
Vehicle ride height and spring pre-load can be adjusted independently. Ride height is adjustable in two ways: a. adjustable shock length, and b. adjustable spring seat.
a. The lower mounting bracket can be adjusted, thus changing the overall length of the shock, and therefore altering the vehicle's ride height. This also allows the user to determine suspension travel and droop.
b. The adjustable spring seat allows for independent adjustment of spring pre-load without affecting vehicle ride height.
Aluminum spring seats are utilized to reduce ceasing of spring seat to threaded body, and for improved durability.

That's for the Tein SS, does that mean there actually is a lower part to adjust for height?

actually what you just copy and paste is for the tein flex and the higher end track model not the super street

http://www.tein.com/products/super_street.html

click on the Ride Height
Adj. more

and it will state

Ride Height Adjustable -
Vehicle ride height adjustable via a threaded shock body and adjustable spring seat. The threaded sleeve is welded to the actual shock body and then Zinc coated for added protection. TEIN engineers have performed vigorous testing to ensure the best possible position and range of the spring seat to ensure the most adjustability. Aluminum spring seats are utilized to reduce ceasing of spring seat to threaded body, and for improved durability.

ride height adjustable is different from Full Length Adjustable

ride height adjustable is method 1 and full length adjustable is method 2 in my previous post

edit:darksparkz i can see where you got the full height adjustable description because it is listed right below the ride height adjustable description
