USA hid question

Do I need to adjust headlights after installing hid kit? Is it going to work if I keep headlight switch in auto mode ?

I hate to say this but use the search feature! This topic has been covered a hundred times already.

To answer your question... Yes, the headlights will work in auto mode. Yes, you have to re-align the headlights. Also, make sure you cover the squirrel spotters, otherwise you will really blind people.

yeah i remember when i first got my HID, it went all the way up to the other back window.
but when u re align it will be better.

I wouldn't put HIDs in auto mode, that's if you wanna preserve the bulb life. If they flick on and off often, before warming up, that can hinder lifespan of the HID bulbs.

I tend to leave just turn mine off and on myself. Because, if I enter tunnels or something in the daytime, they flick on, once I exit, they flick off, and everyone knows flashing HIDs are bad.
