Touch up pen

I bought a touch up pen and used a little about 6 months ago. Without washing it, the pen tip is dry up now. I guest it is not design for 1 time use only. What should I do? Use thinner water to wash the tip? I guess the design is pretty bad.

I would try running the tip of the pen under hot water for 15-30 seconds and see if that helps, but not sure. Maybe the paint thinner will work.

By the way, in the future make sure you thoroughly clean the pen before you put it away. My touch-up paint and pen are still ok even though I bought it a year ago.

I would prefer the brush type touch up paint, so I don't need to make my hand dirty when cleaning it each time.

Nail polish or acetone or whatever you call it, should fix the clog.

How well do those things work? Can you see where the paint was applied (like a line of different color paint)?

Thanks,
b

They work pretty good, not visible unless you're looking for it.

Does the dealer ship sell replacement tip for the touch up pen, such as $2 for a bag of ten? So I can just through it away each time after using it. It is wasting time to cleaning it, and make your hand dirty.
