Gen5 02 Camry Stereo Upgrade - Factory Nav replacement

So I got all the parts in finally and got to work today. I learned a few things...

1) Crutchfield brackets for 02 camry's dont fit right. (at least the ones they sent) I'm off to a local stereo shop tomorrow to find the right one (hopefully)

2) www.tacotunes.com has some great brackets, but they need modification. The tweeter ones are too thick unless the tweeter is completely flush and the doors I had to shave off the outter bottom bolt hole and trim the ring down. I was able to make them work with the help of a jigsaw and a few tries at it.

3) the rear seat is a royal pain in the to remove. once i figured out that you shove a flat blade in the clips and give it a good yank it was all good. Oh and btw dont fillow the instructions and attempt to remove the shade screen (SE models) I tried this and busted the hell out of the rear deck. luckily no visable dmage, but it still upset me.

Overall I think it turned out well. I need to fix a few minor things like the tweeter mounts and find a place in my trunk to mount my crossovers. I got lazy and tired and left em for now. Once I finish I'll post some pics of the amp and deck. The rest is stealth in the factory positions because i live in the ghetto and want to keep my stuff.

As a side note I now have a high pitch whine when i turn the sound up. I'm thinking bad ground, but i dunno. I used a bolt that was in already in use under the right rear seat bolter. Not quite sure what was grounded to it also, but figured it was ok. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Equipment:
Alpine ida-x305
Alpine kca-sc100
Sirius SC-C1
MB Quart DSC 480
MB Quart 6x9 componets w/ tweeters
MB Quart 6x9 2ways

When grounding make sure u go metal to metal,in other words scrape any paint in the spot ur grounding to.Make sure all the connections behind the HU are solid(taped/soldered/wrapped).U may have to move the ground to a dedicated spot of its own with paint scraped away.Could also be a power wire to close speaker wires(if a amp is in the equation).
