5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
you will need the extra exhaust heat shield on the left side and cut the part of the bumper to fit the tip.
PM lammydi or njerald or trojan for more details. those are the modifications i know that you need to do.

Njerald did it the OEM way. All of his parts are OEM even the bumper. I think he replaced his i4 bumper with a v6 bumper. He bought a second muffer just like a V6 car then have it joint the first muffler.
For my setup, I went the custom way. I had a local muffler shop, welded a magnaflow muffer to my OEM muffler and carved the bumper to fit the 2nd muffler. I also have him welded the 2 exhaust tips.
If you crawled under my car you will notice the Magnaflow muffer is just a little smaller than my OEM one. But you can never see the difference if you drive behind me. Hope that help. Here is how they look.

So the TRD V6 Exhaust is mostly plug n play?
I am worring about the safety and caved the bumper .
bigger font doesn't mean a bigger response. -- also if you're worried, then like njerald said -- don't do it -- make sure you know what you want to mod before you mod it and know what you're getting yourself into.

i dont think there is any need to be putting up big letters or responding in bigger lettering. the guy is from hong kong and english may not be his first language. take it easy on the guy. how would you guys like it if it were the other way around?

Hey Daniel,
What makes you think it might be unsafe to do this mod?

Go to a shop and talk to them. Tell them exactly what you want, they can raise your car on the lift and take a look and they can tell you what you can do. Then you can decide for yourself.
