5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
i was searching through craigslist looking for a second hand camry when a "For Sale: 2002 Camry Sport" caught my eye.
This Camry Sport comes with 5 speed , leather, and a spoiler.
I ask the seller if this is the Camry SE or is it the Camry LE w/ extra options (ie. 5 speed, leather and spoiler). >> She doesn't know.
Does anyone know if the LE came with these options or if the advertised Camry Sport is indeed a Camry SE. I read somewhere that the Camry SE is a better buy due to better wheels, suspension and other things.
tell her to look on the trunk and see what letters are on it....i sware, some people are just so car illiterate.
down boy .........don't be so rude..i editted out the "f" word...not everyone knows their cars like us...no need to be rude about it. consider this a warning.
Check for blacked out rear emblems, three spoke wheels, smoked headlights [dunno if they did smoke them or not for 02], the fake aluminium trim, white face gauges...
A warning for what? I didn't break any rules. There's no rule prohibiting the use of profanity. I'm not challenging your authority, just pointing out that i did nothing to deserve a "warning."

Does it come with alloy wheels? Cause LEs don't have alloys.
If you can, get the SE, you'll regret getting the LE in the first place... like me...
The LE has optional alloys but they're not the same design as the SE. Other than that, you'll just have to look at the car in person for things like the steering wheel, interior trim, badging, lights, etc.. I'm guessing it's an LE with the options mentioned though. Unless it was a hand-me-down that is.. Most people go for the SE by choice (so they'd know) not my accident
