Colored Lug nuts - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

Any one here have colored lug nuts? I'm debating on some colored Work ones, but don't want to get something that will look silver/chrome after actually using them a few times pulling wheels off and putting them back on. How good does the color hold up? Any input besides, colored lugs are stupid are welcome.

I used red Mutegi ...took them off, but not because of color but because I needed ET lug nuts. The color does wear off when mounting/dismounting a lot.

Well, I've got some Work wheels on the way and wanted to get some red Work lugs to finish it off. I just didn't want to waste the money if they are gonna look like shit anyways. Worse case, I'll just reuse my Gorilla lugs I've got now.

Make sure not to get POS Ebay ebay ones. EyeBall96 here on the forum got cheap ones, and a shop had to drill a coule of them off and replace the lugs, ugh. That was a crappy day.

You get what you pay for i would say..but if you are going to be taking the wheels on and off a lot then they will get ugly after a while. only my opinion though.
