R&R Serpentine belt '03 Camry 4cyl.

Seemed like a fairly straitforward task, but cannot for the life of me get the tensioner to move in any direction at all.
Removed tire, and splash shield toward the front section of the wheel well. Was able to get serp belt tool onto the lug at the top end of the tensioner. But it dont move. Could've easily broken the tool, (or more fearful of breaking something on the car) so I quit. Obviously, something else needs to be loosened up. Hope someone can help.
Sorry for such a rookie question, after wrenching on Chevy trucks for so long, this Camry is still "foreign" territory to me.

It doesn't follow the "righty tighty, lefty loosey" rule, you actually want to go clockwise as if you were tightening it to loosen the tension from the system, good luck!

Thanks for the reply......Yeah, tried in both directions....no movement at all. Was starting to bend the tool. There isnt a hidden locking nut or bolt someplace, is there?
