Hi: I have a 2003 V6 Camry; engine light went on - scanned at a local store:
P2195 - Oxygen Sensor stuck lean
P0031 - Something about a heater circuit
P2238 - Postive Current Circuit
Advance Auto says they're all related to the oxygen sensor. I have 2 questions: 1. Where should I purchase a new one (I see makes and prices all over the place online), and 2. can I install it myself?
Is there that much of a difference between a genuine Camry part vs. others (Bosch) I see online? The genuine part looks a lot more expensive.
I once used spark plug wires from Auto Zone. They were $70 as opposed to the $150 oem ones. in less than a year, the car was acting up and misfiring due to the wires. I replaced them with OEM, and the problem went away. I still have the OEM wires, 4 years later with no problem.

Y did U bother to replace with the Autozone wire in the first place?
better to buy from toy. it should be fairly simple to replace. usually on the exhaust pipe where it exits the engine.
I'm having a little issue with the location myself. First, the man that ran the code said it's either the mass airflow sensor, or the O2 sensor. So now I'm seeing that there is an A/F (air/fuel ratio) sensor, but some people say it's the same thing as the O2 sensor, and others say it's not the same thing. Then on the location, I have an American built 2006 4cyl camry, and there is the option for the upper O2 sensor, or the lower O2 sensor. What is the difference? All the Toyota techs have said there is one O2 sensor. and which is the sensor on the front manifold, the air flow sensor, or the O2 sensor? I can't fins a manual for this thing anywhere!!
The original OEM wires needed to be replaced. It was a Nissan truck, and it had 160k miles on it. I sold it to my friend and the OEM wires are still doing good today. Before I knew of the HUGE quality difference, I just assumed that a spark plug wire was a spark plug wire, so I frst bought the cheaper ones before I had to rebuy the OEM ones.
