...if you never heard of HID's, I would recommend to ask a local shop to help you.
Pretty much Tobeit said. If he doesnt know what HID stands for or what it is, covering squirrel spotters or even thinking about installing himself is way out of his league.
i brought some cheap one at DMM tuning in san diego, they are the wholesale place, most shop in san diego get their hid from and resell it for double the price.

well... here are things I considered as far as light quality:
1) HID: cheap if done the cheap way, moderately expensive if done properly
2) h11-> other fitment: Cheaper, and you can use silverstar type bulbs and what not, but not even close to what HID output is.

well the hid which i got are pretty cheap kind, it only cost about 70 buck, i didnt wanna spend alot on it since im just using it when i go to the mountain.
