5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Even if it does, I would say don't use it, cause it takes a lot of work, and I mean A LOT, and in the end it'll most likely not gonna work. I got all the parts installed in my old LE, and still didn't work.
Wasn't home and was discussing with a few buddies whether it was pre-wired. It just seems that some are and some aren't even within same yr of make/model. I guess its individual vehicle specific. I'll have to check my manual when I get home or call dealer I suppose
just as gtr said its better to get the fog lights kit. if not, you need to buy light stalk etc. but the kit its just pnp. pm paul (vendor here in tn) he's got the kit.

I called the dealer to ask him if the CE comes with the fog light harness and he told me that there is no Camry CE. Im just gonna use the wires that came with it. if easy enough i'll do it myself if not i'll just bring it somewhere.
Funny story about a stupid salesman: When i wanted to buy my car i went to this dealer ship and the guy comes up to me and asked me what i was looking for. I said i want a black 2007 Camry 4cyl. His response was, Toyota doesn't make a 4cyl Camry. Go figure

As mentioned, the basic wiring is there, however the stalk (The extra tip connection to the light function) is not there; which mean 2 things:
Either you buy a new stalk and wire it up with an aftermarket or oem fog light set, or
You run a separate switch function.

So i don't ask the dealer anything anymore.
They said my car is a V-4...

That was exactly my problem, no pin connectors for the OEM fog switch. End of the road...
