5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Hate to say it, but we are selling the 07 Camry XLE V6 w/ Navi.
We took a look at the 2010 RX350 yesterday, and my wife fell in love with it. We purchased one in Flint Mica with Navigation & Sport Package. We will be taking delivery once the Camry has sold.
We have had some good times, and I've learned a lot from you guys here. Thanks for helping me mod the camry into what it is today!
Once again ... thanks for the good times, and if anyone need help with camry mods ... feel free to ask!

You should have at least gotten the Venza instead of that burrito "SUV" - I was really hoping they would fix its terrible looks with the new generation but instead they made it worse.

My dad is actually looking into purchasing a new car since my sisters Jetta crapped out. I'll see if he's interested since it has backup camera, nav, v6. I love the wheels and engine cover...so if we do buy, I'll be swapping it to my car..hahaha
Thanks guys ... I appreciate all of your help with mods & such over the years!

I'll come back on once we take delivery and let you know ... but just from the test drive ... smoother, obviously more luxurious interior, same speed/pickup ... if not a tad better in the camry ... new HDD Navigation is awesome in the RX ... blows away the navi in the camry ... sound system is superior in the rx ... many advantages in the rx over the camry ... but you're paying 13k more ... what do you expect?

...what happened to the oil leak problem in bank1? Any possible latent damage of running w/o oil for a while?
Wasn't ran for too long (few hours) before I noticed the issue ... wouldn't suspect anything ... I did speak to Toyota corporate about this issue, and they agreed to warranty the engine for 100k! Don't know if that would transfer to a new owner ... but definately something to inquire about!
