5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
get bosch it will last you for years. i tried rainx, toyota replacement, and cheap wiper blades from bj's and didn't last long. the best for me is bosch. but it costs $20 a piece.
Bought them off of amazon, seemed to be the cheapest and reliable place to get them from. They had free shipping over $25 and used my credit card which gave 1.25%(hence the 40cents off).
personally, i don't like the bosch icons... the last set i had didn't give the windshield a completely clean wipe. i think the best blades i've had (and continue to use) are the PIAA silicone wipers... from tirerack.com also. the silicone wipers deposit a layer of silicone on the windshield each time it wipes. rain/water beads up on this coating just like rain-x ... so its like applying rain-x everytime.

Thanks, the current ones i have now are called Reflex (i think they're just a brand in Canada) and they have that same type of stuff for the rain. Had them 2 years now, still work fine but i broke one of the plastic piece and i now have it ziptied to the arm lol...so i figure i'll just replace them both while i'm at it.
I'm putting a pair on my 03 Camry today, along with an oxygen sensor (factory). I can't tell you the name of the company that makes these blades, other than they're a local company and the have a 5-year warranty on them. So far I've put them on 3 other vehicles, and they are by far the best wipers I've ever used in my life. Cost is about $15 per wiper. If you're interested in the manufacturer, let me know and I'll make note of it when I pick the car up.
