Gen6 Gen 6 rear speakr plate

Has anyone used this bracket/adapter on the rear deck speakers with success (ie mounting clearances) WITHOUT ANY modding or fabricating?

Door aftermarket mounting and rear deck aftermarket mounting are two separate issues regarding clearance and difficulty. I am referring to aftermarkets in the rear deck and inherent depth and top mount clearance issues and what these pieces do to affect that process

Nah dude, I got those. You will have to forget one screw. I posted a review for the seller about those. There is no rattle at all with just 3 screws. They work fine.

Any shot you can tell me the specs on the aftermarket 6x9's you put in the rear or at least the name and model of the speaks and I'll look up specs.
Just to compare the numbers to the 6x9's I am interested in and pre-consider comparable mounting height and depth clearance.
Thanks for the input, ill b ordering those off ebay ASAP

I ordered the rear speaker adaptors/brackets. Hopefully the aftermarket will fit without any further needed modding or fabricating. Lemme know if you have an item name or spec breakdown on what aftermarkets you used with these brackets W/O any clearance issues in your 07

Thanks for the info, the Infinitys I am looking at are 1/16" difference larger top to bottom mount compared. With a tight fit we should be ok. Just can't wait for the back-order !

You'll love the difference. I swear I got these installed and you really dont need a subwoofer unless you really want to shake things up.

I couldnt afford the 400, so went with Fosgates 250, but I bet the setup ya got with the 400 and 2-10" Polk Subs sounds strong
