Whenever you take photos of headlights (especially HID's), there appears to be much more glare then there really is. Even a photo of a factory HID install is going to look similar, at least with the cheaper cameras.
maybe he bought a 'HID-look-alike' halogen bulb? cause from the pic, the light output concentration is similar to regular halogen bulbs (in the center two spots).
are those HID-lookalikes less blinding and glare?
maybe i can get those look-alikes instead of a real HID conversion kit, which will blind the hell out of people. lol

What a little lack of understanding.....
The MTEC/Piaa/etc. bulbs are coated to give you a whiter or bluer light at a slight reduction of lumens/output.
Putting a HID bulb/kit in stock headlights, either projector or reflector lenses does not change the light concentration/pattern. It will be more blinding to other drivers unless it is aimed straight at the ground.
