Im wondering if anyone has any info on a set of replacement tires for a 6th gen camry ?. im looking at goodyears assurance comfortread 215/60/16 as a good candidate ? It has a 80k mile warranty and seems to have good reviews .

I personaly like Michelin. My car came with the MXV4 from the factory and i love them. 13K miles and they look brand new.

Yeah, all about trade-off - performance tires are better but wear faster, all season/standard tires last longer but are not particular exceptional in any area. I run Toyo T1R and I can tell you that they perform great...but don't last.

Exactly, because preformance tires use a softer rubber compound to better grip the road. Where all season tires use a harder compound so they last longer.

The mxv4 are terrible. I'd rather take the oem honda bridgestone turanza's over the mxv4 anyday.
The Toyo versado's are great tires too. I heard the yokohamas are good tires (the one mrs00h00 are running), the tire store ran out when I was shopping for new tires so i ended up with some Toyo eclipses on my accord and they are also decent tires. Id say better than the mxv4 but worse than the versado's and turanza's.

I love my MXV4's Low road noise, great wet and try traction, and they handel very well. WAy better then the Conti's on our 05. And they blow away the bridgestone potenzas that were on the 03.
