Light on top of mirror

Hey guys had a quick question. The middle light near the sunglass holder is not coming on. Correct me if im wrong but there is a light there right? I am talking about in between the two parts where you can click for the light to come on. My car is a week old so it shouldnt be broken. Please advise. Thanks.

are the map lights next to it working? if not, check fuses. bulb could have blown. take the cover off and check...theres a DIY on how to remove cover. one of my map lights stop working. bulb was fine. took it to the dealer and they replaced the whole part because some thing burn then melted in there

there should be a switch infront of it , that will say either door, on, off. Play around with that switch. If no dice just go to the dealer it will get fixed.

I dont see any switches near it that say door or off. Only the one in the middle of the roof towards the back. I dont have a moonroof if that makes a difference.

No moonroof means no middle light.

Trade it in and get the moonroof.

Yes, its suppose to light up

Take the bulbs out from the map lights and plug it into the center. If it works, than its the bulb. If it doesnt, check a fuse or something. If no source, go to dealer. There is a DIY on how to remove the plastic covers on the forum.

*EDIT*

NEVERMIND! Didnt see that you wrote that you have no moonroof. I have moonroof on mine.

Yup, we have more lights, and also the rear passenger lights are different, we have the airplane style.
